Familiar with Ruby language and its standard library, master on Ruby on Rails based Web development. Familiar with excellent frequently used gems and plugins, familiar with deployment tool Capistrano, well understand and have much experience on deployment, running and maintaining Rails projects.

Familiar with PHP language and frequently used functions, familiar with Zend Framework, know and tried CakePHP and symfony, familiar with template engine such as Smarty and SmartTemplate.

Familiar with Javascript, understand and familiar with functional programming features of Javascript. Familiar with jQuery, jQuery UI, ExtJS and Prototype framework, know and tried other popular Javascript frameworks such as MooTools and YUI.

2009/04 – Present Ekohe Software Consulting Ltd. Software Engineer

As a senior developer of the company, develop customized Web applications for the customer, collaborate with developers team of customer company. Use agile way to help customer improve the project, provide recommendation of best practice for the problems during the development process such as system architecture, implementation, code quality, work flow and etc. Joined projects include a CRM for the host broadcaster of 2010 FIFA World Cup, a biology simulation system Cellucidate.com running by Plectix.

2007/8 – 2009/03 Praxis Language Industry Senior Web Developer

Works on Ruby on Rails based CRM project(include single sign on and payment system), maintain and improve it. Lead Rails Team developed 88Groups.com(combined to ChinesePod.com due to marketing strategy change) and Confucius Institute Online (http://www.confuciusinstitute.net). I’ve gained much Rails development and deployment experience during these projects. I also often work with PHP Team to maitain and improve online language learning products of the company, such as ChinesePod.com, SpanishPod.com, FrenchPod.com and ItalianPod.com etc. With the help from CTO, I’m on the transition of Tech Leader from several months ago, focus on new technology explore, determine the feasibility, help Rails and PHP Team to solve daily technology problem.
